How many people can attend?
We can accommodate corporate groups of up to 30 people for a volunteer day at Mini Tails. We'll work with your team to tailor the activities to suit your group size.
How long is a volunteer day?
Depending on your group size and the project we plan, a corporate volunteer day at Mini Tails generally runs for 4–5 hours. The day includes a guided tour of the sanctuary, giving your team the opportunity to meet some of our very special rescue residents, hear their stories and see first-hand the difference your support makes.
Can we request a specific project for our team?
Absolutely. We have a range of projects across the sanctuary, from landscaping, landcare and paddock management to maintenance and larger building projects. We’ll work with you to identify a project that suits your team’s skills, interests and group size, while ensuring your time creates a meaningful and lasting benefit for the animals in our care.
What does the corporate contribution support?
Your corporate contribution helps Mini Tails continue building and maintaining a safe, secure and enriching sanctuary for animals in need. Contributions help fund essential animal care, food, veterinary treatment, fencing, landscaping, maintenance and the development of new facilities and spaces for our rescue residents. Every contribution helps turn your team’s time and effort into a lasting impact for the animals who call Mini Tails home.
Is the corporate contribution tax deductible?
Financial contributions to Mini Tails are tax deductible. As a registered charity with full DGR status, we provide a tax-deductible receipt for eligible corporate contributions. Are volunteer days suitable for all fitness levels?
Yes. We have a range of projects available and will work with you to select activities that are appropriate for your team’s abilities and fitness levels. Whether your team is looking for hands-on physical work or lighter tasks, we can tailor the day to ensure everyone can participate, contribute and enjoy the experience.
Can we organise a volunteer day on a specific date?
We ask that corporate volunteer days are planned at least one month in advance. With a large number of animals in our care, many requiring ongoing care and medical attention, this allows us to plan around their needs while also designing a meaningful day specifically for your team. It gives us time to organise the right projects, materials, equipment and resources so your team can make the most of their time at Mini Tails. We’re always happy to discuss your preferred dates and work with you to create the perfect day for your team.
